Pride Toronto 2021
Pride went Phygital this year in celebrating its annual Pride Festival in support of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. Pride month kicked off at the start of June and after a month-long of virtual and physical events, Pride wrapped with its notable Pride Parade. We danced, we learned, we laughed and we celebrated. Coy was responsible for managing the Production, technical direction and project management of the entire live-stream events, and creative direction and content creation for the Virtual Pride Parade.

The host of the Virtual Pride Parade 2021 was none other then the Queen of the North herself and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, Priyanka! We had the pleasure of filming Priyanka and producing a promo spot, teasing the launch of the Parade.
And as the host of the show, we also had the pleasure of producing all the segments that comprised the Virtual Pride Parade. It was fabulous!
This year marked the 40th anniversary of Pride Toronto. Having started as a protest and grown into a movement, Pride has been monumental, inspirational, and memorable for a lot of people for many years. We had the pleasure of producing a segment that spoke to some of the many memories of Pride in Toronto.
1 month of programming, complete with entertainment, education, laughter, truth, creativity and above all else, celebration, Phygital Pride 2021 was a huge success. Although the pandemic restricted the ability for people to be together physically, people turned up for Pride month and it was a huge success! This promo says it all!
