When our love for indie music met our curiosity to get deep into the lives and souls of the music makers, indieep [in-deep] was born.

Exposing the souls behind the sounds via filmic exposés, our goal is to promote and support independent Canadian musicians as well as venues in our city and allow for personal connections to be made between the music makers and fans that consume them.

Tamar Ilana

indieep gets worldly with our latest feature on Tamar Ilana – Canadian-born flamenco singer and dancer who fuses Sephardic traditions into her art. Passion, fury and performance – lose yourself in her story and her sound.

Made with the support of the Province of Ontario and Ontario 150, Toronto Musicians Association (TMA), Orchestra Plus, & MROC. Special thanks to Tamar Ilana, and Demetrios Petsalakis and Benjamin Barrile for their accompaniment.

A BIG thank you to Esmeralda Enrique for letting us use her amazing dance studio “Academy of Spanish Dance” and for her continued support in keeping culture alive.
